Challenges and Freebie Prizes
iNSD Speed Chat hosted by Hummie - Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. EST (8 CST, 7 MST, 6 PST). If you
miss the chat, you can still participate. The chatbox will be open all
day. To participate, be logged into the forum and you will see the
chatbox at the top of the page.
Remember, you DO NOT need to use papers/elements/kits exclusively from the designers at Hummie's to participate in these challenges. You can use them from any designers or your own.
iNSD Sharing Thread
International Scrapbooking Day is always filled with lots of challenges for prizes, freebies, blog/FB hops, chats, and more around the world. Sometimes it can be difficult to follow all the designers and stores out there who participate in this big day. Hummie has created a forum where you can drop by to see what's out there and make it a little easier for you to find what you need quickly so that you can spend more time scrapping instead of searching. How great is that?
Here is the reveal of The Tower's Window and because iNSD is coming up in the next few days, this collab is on sale for 50% off. This collab is available here.
This layout was created using the collab kit:
I've turned the layout into a template for the May Template Challenge. You can download the template and participate in the challenge for a prize. Everyone who participates gets the prize so have fun with it!
The prize will be this quick page made using The Tower's Window. Everyone who participates will get a PM to download at the end of May.
Here is my layout using the quick page:
Also, just a reminder, everything in the store is 50% off. I've also put in my shop, Story Crate. This is just my part of the collab that was released last year. It's currently $1.50 but with the sale, it's only $.75!!!
This class went by so fast and I didn't think I'd miss it but I do. I really do. Initially, when I first started the class, I had expectations. I was looking forward to a structured environment and it wasn't. As time went on and I did the challenges, I realized it was perfect just the way it was. I really enjoyed the weekly challenges which was the key motivator to keep going. That and seeing the other students' pages. I honestly enjoyed this experience. I will continue to add to my binder but it won't be the same without the class.
Here is my last challenge. We had to write a letter. I decided to write one to myself. After I wrote the letter, I sealed it in an envelope and taped it with washi tape. Years from now, I will open it and read it...and hope to smile.
There is a new digital book out with some great inspirations. Check it out here:
