I just finished a workshop on how to create a fantasy look. It was a lot of fun and I learned some very useful techniques that I will incorporate in some of my work. Above was the final assignment in which all the steps learned were used to create the layout. I used most of the steps and I'm satisfied with the layout but I still sometimes feel limited by the elements I use. There is always something missing. I want to just start drawing and painting in the things I think will give it the look I really want but I don't draw as often as I should these days and have become a bit stiff. I do need to a lot time for that though.
Credits: The majority of elements and papers are from Lorie Davison's kit, Greymouse Manor. The photo through the window of the trees was taken by me and the sky with clouds is a stock photo. The girl is my daughter.
